Naty Glennon

Assistant Secretary

Naty was born in Spain and has lived in Brighton since 1994 and very much believes that England is her country too! In Spain she worked as a Personal Assistant to the CEO of a Coal Mining Company based in Gijon and then as a Secretary for a Medical Surgical Suppliers. In the main her job required her to undertake various secretarial duties including taking minutes and organising meetings and conferences etc.

She has worked for Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust for the last 17 years. She has been an active member of the local BME Network since she joined in 2004 and feels passionately about doing whatever she can to progress the race equality agenda.

As a member of the local BME Network for BSUH NHS Trust for the last 10 years, Naty has actively participated in organising local BME meetings and managing BME Development Away days. Naty has also actively participated in the organising of National conferences for both the regional and national BME Networks. In particular she has been responsible for preparing delegates badges for most of these conferences including the launch of the NHS BME Network.

In 2011 Naty was recruited to work as a Project Assistant for a transformational change management project entitled Commitment to Change for Race Equality. In this role she was responsible for organising meetings and co-ordinating the trainings for all staff including managers trust-wide.
